A Festival for kids and teenagers.
Comics in Puerto Vallarta have experienced remarkable growth and appreciation in recent years, becoming a vibrant part of the local culture. With an increasingly diverse community of fans and creators, the city has seen a flourishing of specialized stores, events, and spaces dedicated to this art. That's why every year the "Vive la Con Co" Festival is held with great success, traditionally taking place at the Los Mangos Library.
At the heart of the comic scene in Puerto Vallarta are stores offering a wide selection of comics, both local and international, spanning genres from superheroes to independent comics and graphic novels. These stores not only serve as sales points but also as meeting centers for comic lovers, where they can exchange ideas, discover new series, and connect with other fans. The event will take place for two consecutive days, April 20th and 21st from 12 pm to 6 pm.
In addition to the stores, Puerto Vallarta hosts comic events and conventions that attract visitors from across the country. These events are not only an opportunity for fans to gather and celebrate their passion for comics, but also provide a platform for local and emerging artists to showcase their work and connect with a wider audience. For example, at this Festival, we will have various new activities and the presence of 2 highly experienced guests, they are the special guests:
• Lupita Leal: Famous for roles such as Elizabeth in the Seven Deadly Sins, Carly Shay in iCarly and its sequel, "T.K." Takaishi and Piyomon in Digimon, Daki in Demon Slayer, Sinon in Sword Art Online, Prunia in The Legend of Zelda, Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter, Kale and Broly Kid in Dragon Ball, Moegi in Naruto, Kiri in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ichika Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets, Emilia in Re:Zero, Yubel in Yu-Gi-Oh!
